codyhuntsaz Report post Posted September 18, 2015 I have a friend looking for a long range set up. He would prefer a gun and scope combo, but he's open to piecing them together. Only thing is....he's in a hurry to buy one for an October deer hunt. I thought maybe someone on here would have a rig that they've been thinking about selling but haven't posted in the classifieds yet? Or maybe something you're getting ready to post but just haven't yet. He's open to caliber and brand. Contact Brett @ 480-266-0238

azsugarbear Report post Posted September 18, 2015 It might be helpful to list a range of calibers and a general range of the amount he is willing to spend for the rifle.
5guyshunting Report post Posted September 18, 2015 There may be time for a purchase, but time to dial a rifle in by Oct. Is questionable.

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted September 18, 2015 He'a about 2 years to late to become proficient with a long range weapon before his hunt. Long range shooting is'nt as easy as picking up a rifle, dialing the turret and shooting

nighthawk Report post Posted September 18, 2015 He'a about 2 years to late to become proficient with a long range weapon before his hunt. Long range shooting is'nt as easy as picking up a rifle, dialing the turret and shooting+1 practice is more important then the rig! I have seen good shooters make great shots with below average rifle setups. On the contrary fully built long range rig with novice shooter not hit even with turrets wind ext explained! So much that goes into it and so much that can go wrong.
