FS: Stevens 20-guage, Tally rings, 308 reloading components

Recommended Posts

Stevens/Savage model 94-K single-shot 20 gauge shotgun (holds up to 3" shells). This was a friend's first shot gun from a *long* time ago. He no longer uses it, and wants it to find a nice home. It's been stored carefully out here in Az, so rust is not an issue. It has had the stock hand-refinished as a school shop project. Trigger is very stiff (about 6 pounds?). Otherwise, this would be a great starter/beater shotgun. $90 face-to-face in the West Valley area.

Next up...Tally 1" steel rings for browning A-Bolt or Sako A7. These are great rings, very tough and (imho) very good looking. Unfortunately, they didn't allow me quite enough adjustment for eye relief (I have a very long length-of-pull), so I had to use a different set of Talley rings. $40 face-to-face in the West Valley (or plus $5 for shipping in the state).

Lastly...various 308 components. I played around with 308 for a while, but eventually found the "package deal" I wanted in 308 (gun, scope, etc.) was beyond my financial reach at this time. So I parted with the rifle. Now, I need to find a home for the left-over components. These include:

*RCBS 2-piece 308 dies

*~100 rounds of winchester 308 brass (primed with Fed 210M primers). reloaded twice.

*~50 rounds of federal and winchester military brass (primed with Fed 210M primers). reloaded twice.

*20-round box of federal 150-grain soft points

*6 rounds of fed gold medal match 175 gr match kings (includes the 14 rounds of brass, too).

*~25 rounds of 165 accubonds (loaded with BL-C(2) powder). Chrono'ed about 2700 fps in 22" featherweight.

*~15 rounds of 165 nosler ballistic tips (same load as above).

*~15 rounds of winchester 147 gr "ball" ammo.

$50 face-to-face in the West Valley.

Feel free to shoot me questions on any of these items. Thanks, and have a good week!

My Rights,

Stevens is yours.

Various other posters,

I agree about the shotgun, but my friend has not been out shooting for 25+ years, and just has no interest. So it's his feeling they should have a useful home instead of taking up room in his closet. His kids are also full grown, and have no interest in shooting.
