I been a Kenetrek guy for about 5-6 years... LOVE them have owned 3-4 pairs and still own my first pair but it is has seen its last day afield this year...

Man has the price gone up!! I am fixing to order a new pair but thought I'd see if anyone could talk me into trying something else out there... if comparable???

I wore lowa Tibets on my Colorado alpine hunt. Love them. Got them on shoebuy for$288 with a free pair of smart wool socks. They are pretty stiff but with 100+ lbs on my back they where great

I want to get my hands on the Kenetrek desert guides, they look like the perfect az boot, way pricey though.

I've been wanting to try some Kenetreks for a while, but I really struggle to drop close to $500 on boots. Crazy thing is my wife wants me to them and I still haven't done it. I have a surgically repaired foot (ankle, arch, toes, ligaments, etc) with lots of metal and screws in there. I'm sure it would be worth the investment to protect my foot. But I stick with Danner and supplement that with a ASO brace. That seems to lock my foot down good and tight, more so than any boot alone that I have tried.

Guess I am the only one wearing Asolo. Have for the past 5-6 years mostly because they fit my C width foot so well. They have been great boots.

It hurts looking at your x ray but a nail pouch would work to carry your foot in haha sorry but I had to say it

I love the fit, comfort, support....and price of the Cabelas/Meindle Perfekt Hiker. Just bought my 2nd pair. I tried on the Kenetreks, but the arch support dug into my foot.
