G&F is going to do a scaled quail survey and is looking for help. MIght be a good in.

 

Do you have a dog?

Don't have a dog for bird hunting

That's ok. They will set you up with someone that does have a dog so you can get a good count on the quail you see. If you want more info on the scaled quail count opportunity with G&F let me know. I have some info for you.

Went out this morning and shot clay targets and I am more pumped.

Was out deer hunting last day of early early, NW of Phoenix and came across hundreds of the Looney little birds. Stalking a deer would have been tough, I was in the birds for miles.

No she just knows I need a little time outdoors dove hunting is good but it doesn't make up for weekends away in cooler country:-)

Less then two weeks away will be taking my friends son out for the first time on opening day hope we can limit out but we will have fun. Anyone want to come along
