cvw789 Report post Posted September 10, 2015 For some reason I didn't realize you could do velvet antlered skulls. Very interesting. They all look awesome. A couple years ago I figured out how to clean them up and save the velvet. They sure are a pain in the butt and take 10-14 months but sure do turn out pretty cool. 4Falls Report post Posted September 10, 2015 Cole do you preserve the velvet prior to feeding the bugs? How much shrinkage do you have on the velvet?
cvw789 Report post Posted September 14, 2015 Cole do you preserve the velvet prior to feeding the bugs? How much shrinkage do you have on the velvet? Yes I do.I get a little shrinkage but it also depends on how grown the antlers are. So far not to bad. Cole
