hoghntr Report post Posted September 9, 2015 PM sent. I'm also looking for o/u I believe the code needed for aging shotgun is in 1 of the pictures but I do not understand how to decipher it. I understand serial numbers but 870's refer to the stamp?

Ed67 Report post Posted September 9, 2015 First gun I ever owned and still have is a Wingmaster 12 gauge modified choke. My dad who didn't hunt bought if for me when I was 12 in 1978 to hunt doves with some neighbors. Great gun, many memories although I'm still a terrible wing shooter.

hoghntr Report post Posted September 12, 2015 He will take $400 but gonna draw line there. Usually when you find one of these in gr8 shape it has a 30" full choke on it and you then need to find practical barrel.

100%DIYazCOUES Report post Posted September 13, 2015 Off topic,but...30" fixed full choke is plenty practical. I think its a great setup for dove...the only problem is sometimes they get hammered too hard if they're close. For example I shot 3 limits in 3 trips last week,50% hit to miss ratio using my 1100 with that setup...sorry,just got compelled to dispute that it was impractical...
