SirRoyal Report post Posted September 6, 2015 Well long story and a journey. But been sitting on these goats for over a month! Hunterdan work his tail off this summer! Having waited 25 years to draw an antelope tag and now was his moment! He sent me pics all summer of great Goats. Finally August 7th we teamed up and went looking in places we had not been before! These 3 goats were what we found . We knew we were the first to see them because of access. I took over 200 pictures. This was Hunterdan's 1st choice and 2nd and 3Rd choice bucks. Never assume in unit 10 that you have an exclusive. And if you draw the tag bring your blood pressure meds. Lol!!! Never the less we met some great guys but all after the same goats. Hunterdans hard work paid off and he loved how tall Tower was. He drilled him at 9am the first Morning with an awesome stalk . Of course he shot Tower!!!!!

SirRoyal Report post Posted September 6, 2015 I was dying to share pictures with you guys. But for obvious reasons I held them tight for Hunterdan's sake. We are really good buddies so I did what was in his best interests!

Schmitty Report post Posted September 6, 2015 Did "Heart" break the top 3" of his right side? I'm pretty sure that we saw that buck last week while scouting for my wife's early rifle bull tag. Great job on getting your 1st choice killed opening morning. Not always an easy task given the pressure. Schmitty

Hunterdan Report post Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks everyone. And thanks to Josiah for all his help and company scouting this summer as well as my cousin Joel and son Josh. I am still shocked we got him with all the pressure out there! str8shot- His length makes him look very impressive. But he is about a 84 inch Buck. Little weak on the mass side. Schmitty- No heart did not break anything off his horns. He was taken by another hunter.
