.270 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 I for one, am very happy to know that the biggest typical, actually the 2 biggest, and the biggest non typical were taken by joe hunters that were just hunting. Out in the country with a rifle trying to fill a tag. Enjoying the outdoors, just to enjoy the outdoors. Couldn't care less about books or websites or any other ways to show off. There ain't even any pictures of em, with or without water marks or photoshopped hats. Guy killed a big buck. Ok. So have lotsa other guys. I shot a 90 incher last year. I'm still tickled about it. Took it to my little cabin in the canyon, me and my wife skunt if and we ate it.
