The Latest: US giving UN $26.6 million to help migrants

This is one of the headlines today on yahoo from somewhere where people hate Americans until they need us. While I do feel for these people, what about the starving children on our streets in this country? I work my azz off to pay taxes to the current regime. I would at least like to see my hard earned tax dollars benefiting people of this country, that want to some day CONTRIBUTE TO WHAT THEY HAVE TAKEN!!!

 

My family is not originally from this country, but they worked hard to see the American dream unfold for them, because they PAID THERE DUES AND WORKED THIER AZZ OFF FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Bash me if you want, but this does not fall under "hunting politics". This is campfire material. We are all paying for this.

I worked up here with some Refugees . They got free housing from the USA. till they got a job. Who knows what else was free .I'M sure food was. Not much incentive to work and if they do they are taking Our jobs.................BOB

Not saying what is being done is the right thing to do, but 26 mill is nothing compared to the economic aid that we are sending directly to other countries on an annual basis.

At least the UN will earmark the money for immigrant issues. What we send other countries in economic aid and military assistance can get used however they want.

26million in international economic terms is about the same as any of us leaving a $2 tip for a pancake breakfast at dennys. It is literally the very least the US could contribute and I seriously doubt it'll be the end of our involvement. We're going to end up with boat loads of refugees landing on our shores before its over. So dont get too worked up yet, its just starting.

A lot of people in the US don't know how good we got it.... I am speaking about the far left. What I have seen on Twitter and FB makes me sick (the bad guys are heroes, heroes are the bad guys.....)

 

A person cannot choose where they are born, what separates the person is what they do when they are born in a great country like the US. Do they love and support this great country or feel entitled and want to destroy the norms and values that made the country great....

 

Its amazing how patriotic the US was after 9/11, now I am amazed how that has changed to anti- US ....
