AZ8 Report post Posted September 3, 2015 Due to work, I wasn't able to take part on opening day. With a short work day, I planned to go out this afternoon. So I get home, load up my gear and jump in the truck! Click....click...click....click.....is all I hear. It never fails. I have the worst timing when it comes to dead truck batteries! Although, I can't complain too much. This one lasted 5 years. Not bad for the desert. So I quickly pull the battery, run to Auto Zone, buy new battery, install new battery and I'm back in business. Record battery change for me. Finally get out to my spot at 4:15. First bird down quickly. I limit out at 5:33. Back home by 6:00. Turned out to be a nice day out in the field.
