devinv Report post Posted June 23, 2007 finally gunna break down and buy the gear i need. anybody have any experience with the velbon sherpa 600 tripod with the 157q head? also, i was reading past posts about scopes and it seems a lot of people recommend the nikon buckmaster, best bang for the buck (found it for $280, 6-18x40) i played with it in basspro yesterday, it was very bright and i noticed you didnt have to get close to the scope at all to see the full range of view. again, anybody have any experiece first hand? was looking at the 6-18x40. and last but not least, gunna get those slc 15s. maybe somebody can PM about the prices over at camerland from doug, guess he gives lower prices than the msrp?
