carpcody Report post Posted August 30, 2015 Shot this coyote the other day with my 17hmr, I was very pleased how well it performed at 100 yards. His back leg looks like it had some kind of birth defect,it still had a pad but no toes. Thought it was a little strange. He looks a little rough in the pic because he fell in some water, but he was in over all pretty good condition.
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted August 30, 2015 Infection or snake bit foot maybe. Pry chewed it off and the pad is actually callus healed over?

carpcody Report post Posted August 31, 2015 I was kinda thinking snake bite too, it's crazy how well they can do with a handicap. I didn't even realize it until I saw him up close.
