levers Report post Posted August 30, 2015 I don't know much about old swords but I showed this to a sword expert and here's what he told me. It is a Patton Sword and was designed by George Patton. It was the last cavalry sword used by the US Army and saw combat duty during WWI. This is a really nice one with the scabbard. It has not been sharpened or abused and is a fine collector's item..
