GreyGhost85 Report post Posted August 26, 2015 I have had a bunch of ground blinds. Just bought a 5-hub from sportsmans guide for $65. I like it a lot better than the expensive ones i've had. My buddy even shot a buck out of it last weekend. Don't be afraid of the quality for the price. I was shocked how simple it sets up and really sturdy and light

I was shocked how simple it sets up and really sturdy and light -1 I've experienced opposite results from the cheaper ones. My doublebulls are over 10 years old with hundreds of days in the sun. Except for buddies shooting through the sides on accident they are flawless. I have found the cheaper ones to be transparent, noisy, cramped, hubs break after a few trips, easily ripped and not worth the hassle. I have had 6 and got rid of all if them. Hope you have better results than mine...

Guest 300ultramag. Report post Posted August 26, 2015 regardless of brand, make sure not to impose your will on the hub blinds. they can break setting up or tearing down. not the hubs but the carbon/fiberglass shafts
cactusjack Report post Posted August 26, 2015 I had to replace my Doublebull thanks to someone else deciding to Covet thy neighbors Doublebull blind. I hope anything shot out of it spoils and the hair slips and they get slammed for wanton waste. They got a chair too. A pox or hemorrhoids upon them and their house. Im not angry.
GreyGhost85 Report post Posted August 26, 2015 here is the blind that i mentioned. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/guide-gear-5-hub-ground-hunting-blind?a=956773 it was on sale when i bought it. still a great deal though. it sets and folds down incredibly easy. for that price, it wouldn't be too big of a deal if something happened to it. i have spent a LOT of time in a few different blinds, and like i said, i actually have preferred this one over any of the others. shoot through mesh works well too, if you are not shooting an expandable. a pretty nice coues buck would attest to these statements a few days ago.
JLW Report post Posted August 26, 2015 regardless of brand, make sure not to impose your will on the hub blinds. they can break setting up or tearing down. not the hubs but the carbon/fiberglass shafts easy fix... go to wallyworld and by replacement fiberglass tent poles cut to size and replace the end pieces and put the hub back together. hoghntr Report post Posted August 26, 2015 All I really care about is that they don't shine like a mirror :-) some of these materials these blinds are made with are just so crazy shiny you gotta cut down A whole tree just a brush in your blind
