Heard throught the grapevine that he tagged out but not quite the bull he hoped for. Hope it's not true. 18? Years is a long time to wait

My opinion....if you leave the tape measure in the tool box you will never be disappointed.

'Specially when folks post bogus #'s. 😚. But I hafta agree, if you pull the trigger you hafta live with it. No sense in fudgin'. What I really wanna know is if the poor feller had a nervous breakdown before he shot it. I don't know if I ever saw anyone so excited. Lark.

Could not agree with you more. Its sad such a great hobby and teaching lesson for our kids has been corrupted by society and who has the biggest tool in the box

First big deer I killed in 91' I was so proud of him after taking 8 before him but not what I was looking for. 6 years of looking at him on the wall and finally someone told me he was about a 170 deer. Ok. that's cool. I shot him cuz I thought he was a trophy to me. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks or measures.

Man. folk in AZ sure are spoiled as far as trophy hunting goes. Back in Montana, I'd be psyched and proud to simply fill an elk tag whether it be a cow or small raghorn. Many elk that Arizona hunters see as second rate would qualify as an elk of a lifetime in other places. I am joining the club, because I do not know how many opportunities like this I will have.

With that said, I hope Bob had himself a great time and if the bull is big, well, that's a bonus. I look forward to the story.

Well, its 1:30 am here in N. Dakota. been home a half hour. Drove over 1700 miles the last 2+ days. Visited a buddy in Casper last nite . A little out of the way ,but worth it to see my Wyoming connection. Rained today the whole way from Casper to Minot. Made for a long day. Rumor has it I harvested and that is true. Very nice Bull. Pics and story tomm. This old man is bushed after lots of hiking and driving. Can't wait to hear the story. Good Night...............BOB!
