Archery bear Updated with few more pics

Recommended Posts

After sitting in the blind for 14 hours yesterday this bear passed on a nearby hill, I climbed out of the blind and got to 22 yards and put the swhacker broad head right through the heart. One of the most intense things I have ever done. Unfortunately while packing it out my phone factory reset and deleted all the pictures and video. Also that is the last time I shoot a bear by myself they are a lot heavyer than you think. Thanks to miles and my dad for coming and helping with the last load.post-4854-0-20309400-1440272170_thumb.jpgpost-4854-0-39862700-1440272205_thumb.jpgpost-4854-0-38647500-1440272261_thumb.jpg

here are the trail cam pics of the bear. G&F estimated the bear between 18-20 years old!

Congratulations again Andy. I'm so happy for you. So you really only had one arrow when you went after him? I love the color and it will make an awesome rug if that's what you have decided to do. :)

TJ, ya I never planed on getting out of the blind. I had taken my quiver off my bow as soon as I git into the blind that morning, so when the bear went by out of range I just grabbed my bow and went. As I was at full draw and my mind was going a mile a minute I remember thinking "oh crap I only have one arrow and no pistol" I touched off the release and hoped for the best lol
