Who is pumped for the opener!? I will not be able to head up until Saturday. So what's everyone's plan? Stand hunting? Spot and stalk? Deer? Bear? I will be glassing my butt off with bow in hand looking for deer and bear. Let's hear it!

Not sure I'm going at all first weekend. All the bucks I would take need some more growing. We will see though. Might change my mind when the time comes lol.

I will be out tomorrow in my stomping grounds straight from work and for the weekend.

 

Deer was tagged in January, can't justify a bear without being able to afford its taxidermy at this time, so I have to decide between sitting water for turkey/lion/other or predator calling for lion/coyote/other. Obviously I'm going to do some of both but I'm torn on what I want to focus on. I haven't shot a turkey or a lion.

 

What would ya'll do? Oneshot, I know you would say call for lion!!

stuck in scottsdale working this first weekend. I was hoping to get my recurve out for bear. I dont think there are any close quite a few cougars though.
