As a 44 magnum it can be loaded with light loads using 180 gr bullets or loaded up hot with 300 gr bullets capable of killing an elk or bear within reasonable distances. Might make a great first rifle for a youth or anyone who might be recoil sensitive. cactusjack Report post Posted August 15, 2015 if you decide you do not want to part with it, send it to SRT in Prescott. I have one integrally suppressed with the titanium suppressor on it. With 44spl it is movie quiet. With 44mag its hearing safe, but cracks the sound barrier. I put a Vortex PST 1-4 on it. Can't find picture of it finished.
