tjhunt2 Report post Posted August 13, 2015 Big Brown is right on. I haven't called for bears in years but when I did it was a minimum of 45 min. to an hour. I used the circe cotton tail. rcdinaz Report post Posted August 14, 2015 I tried the fawn distress this season after seeing some spotted twins. Of course the two knuckle heads I was with blew it about 15 minutes in anyway. One couldn't take the bugs anymore and the other got a butt cramp and had to get up and walk around. .270 Report post Posted August 18, 2015 i've called in quite a few over the years. all on lbind calls, all with a circe magnum jackrabbit. but that's all i use for anything. i think with bears it's more about where you are than what you use. get on the edge of a big canyon where the sound can carry a long ways, if you're calling blind. if you see one and sneak in close, about anything oughta work.
