Whatever brand is flexible! I have older pair that is awesome and proven to work but so many newer kind are so rigid ya can't move.

They all seem to be hot! I have whatever brand from sportmans. I checked they are Everlast snake shields. They aren't quite as hot or heavy as the canvas type ones I used to have.

I've now started wearing my cowboy boots instead except quail hunting I'd wear gators because I don't pay as much attention to the ground.

I have a pair of Irish Setter boots. They are extremely comfortable and durable. So long as your not bending over and squatting a lot, don't really notice them. easy on easy off when you are back at camp too.

I wear rocky snake boots they are super light & feel like you are wearing tennis shoes! They might be a little hot , but would rather my feet sweat a little than get bit out in the boonies!!
