My question is will using them scare away or make other animals such as deer hesitant to come in? Also for a first timer is there a e caller that isn't over $200 that will work well? Just thinking of sitting a blind or stand during the Aug/Sept hunt and like everyone else willing to shoot whatever comes first. azphil Report post Posted August 9, 2015 I wouldn't use a predator type call if you 're serious for deer even though deer will sometimes come in to investigate. If you have a caller with deer or fawn bleats it could lure in both. Good luck. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
