Havasuhunter Report post Posted August 9, 2015 Got back home Friday. We fished Wed and Thurs. bite was very tough. Lots of fish on the sidescan and down sonar, but they were very boat and line shy. I had a good trip though because I caught a nice Dorado and one of the Tuna was my largest Yellowfin ever. It was in that 55-60lb range and took 45 minutes to land since we all dropped to 25lb flouro to get bit.

208muley Report post Posted August 10, 2015 Good job! We were on the outer limits a week ago and missed the tuna. Just big yellow tail and dorado. Still had a great trip with a great crew! I will be back for sure. Did art make a plate of sashimi for you?

I will be back for sure. Did art make a plate of sashimi for you? No Sashimi this time, but he spoiled us with great food. Art used to work for me about 8 years ago. He's a good guy. Been on the OL for 5 years now I think. He goes out of his way to make much better food than most SD boats. Our second night he made Ribeyes with green beans and mash potatoes, it was excellent.

Havasuhunter Report post Posted August 22, 2015 The last 4 days the half day boat at seaforth has caught a total of more than 300 YFT.How many people have caught those 300 YFT? 450? That's awesome they are close, but I'm betting the fish per rod count is not as good as it sounds. Would be awesome to get out there on a private boat right now.

Havasuhunter Report post Posted October 18, 2015 The Wahoo trip in the Legend is now a, um a Legend! Amazing the stuff showing up in CA waters. Just wish I had the ability to not work all of Oct with hunting, etc. the River Striper bite has been insane luckily to keep me occupied, but Wahoo is on my bucket list. I've caught smallmouth to 4lbs, largemouth to 6lbs and stripers to 10lbs in the last week to ease the pain.
