Tines Report post Posted June 14, 2007 I must have missed the answer to this. In regards to those who applied on-line before the G&F killed it and went to paper apps. What if an application is drawn and all are required to go down to the G&F and pay with cash or check but 1 or 2 on the application doesn't have the money? Do those on the application who HAVE the money walk away with a tag while those who are broke walk away empty handed? How is this going to work in relation to allocated and leftover permits? Hope this made sense. If not, I'll have my wife explain it since she understands me perfectly well!
GameHauler Report post Posted June 14, 2007 Hope this made sense. If not, I'll have my wife explain it since she understands me perfectly well! I am sure you will have to have all the money or the whole app will be trashed
Huntn coues Report post Posted June 14, 2007 I believe it's all or none. If you have one person on that app that you are concerned about you better cover it . Who is the first signer on the app? I think they will call the person who is in first position.
Tines Report post Posted June 14, 2007 I'm not concerned about anyone on my application. Just trying to get a general idea since this is more like an Idaho draw than the traditional. I can only imagine this will turn into a cluster.
Outdoor Writer Report post Posted June 14, 2007 What if an application is drawn and all are required to go down to the G&F and pay with cash or check but 1 or 2 on the application doesn't have the money? The person who is in the "A" spot (the one whose CC was used for the app fees) will likely be responsible to pay the FULL amount. No total -- no tags. So that person will have to collect all the money and go get a cashier's check or money order. I don't believe G&F will accept cash but they might if one goes to the office in person. -TONY
Soar AZ Report post Posted June 14, 2007 I just called Game & Fish. And the answer is that Applicant A is responsible for all the money for B, C, or D applicants if any on the application. Then it is up to Applicant A to get the money from the remaining applicants weather they have the money or not. If Applicant A does not have the full amount for all applicants on the tag then nobody will get their tag on that application. Sounds like they may have quit a few left over tags this year because of this or maybe not. We will definately see how this works out.
ichiban43 Report post Posted June 16, 2007 That is a CASHIERS check BTW. No personal checks. That will ease some of the cluster that is on the way
DotShot Report post Posted June 16, 2007 THis is an interesting dilema, as the Game & FIsh sent notices to all individuals on the application not just the person whose credit card was used, this tells me that each applicant is on their own, they pay they get a tag, they dont they forfeit their tag (individual basis not group). It is not my fault nor is it the fault of any online applicant that they hired a fisher price web outfit to do their business. ANy way you speculate it ther is going to be a major mess come late July........
ichiban43 Report post Posted June 17, 2007 Yes--the letter says that they will contact each recipient. Sounds as if they aren't sure how to handle this problem, given the answer over the phone. This issue needs to resolved ASAP. Luckily--I put in by myself. Have fun Ya'll!!!
