buglethemin Report post Posted August 3, 2015 Well what do you think guys. Is that 5x4 in the first photo the same buck as that 4x4 in the last photo. As you can see the last photo of the 4x4 was taken on sept 13 and then 11 days later the 5x4 Shows up. Looks to be the same buck? Maybe he grew a fifth point in 11 days ? 111 Report post Posted August 3, 2015 EAS that's a big buck! It looks like he's standing in the same spot as the previous year with the tree behind him being the same. He does seem a little behind this year, but maybe you can get a pic of him in a few weeks and that will give you a good comparison. Buglethemin that buck has great front forks, I would think he's somewhere in the 170's..I think the 5x4 in the first photo is different than the 4x4 in the last photo. I think on Sep 13th he would have shown some type of nub or small point on his right side before turning into a 4x5. Both bucks do have very similar frames and point length though. buglethemin Report post Posted August 4, 2015 No I got drawn for the desert hunt in units surrounding south and west of phx. 39/42/41/40a&b. I spent lots of time in each unit for the last 15 years or so. Now it's just picking where to spend most of my time. Only pre season scouting will tell. I'll be in unit 7 as I drew 7w archery bull. FirstBlood Report post Posted August 4, 2015 That's where I was this weekend(7w)...Didn't see to many Elk lots of deer,,,Did see some Rubs & found a nice Bull shed from last year....But I do have 5 cameras out...So it will be continued.....I hunt out west too mostly the tanks.. He needs to grow upwards now about a foot or more... I'll post newer pics as soon as I pull chips again this weekend... I take it all back, I bet he will be huge by opening day...
