khmer6 Report post Posted July 31, 2015 Rodeo at the roderunner in new river. Wildlife zoo Hike out of rock springs 9 holes of cheap golf Baseball game Dinner in cavecreek at binkleys✔ Anthem water park BBQ my place✔ Fish lake pleasant✔ Canyon raceway Cabelaros museum wickenburg White tanks hike picnic✔ For now moving to I17 and the 101 until I can figure out the path of least resistance to N. Scottsdale hahahah thats a good one from i17 to 101, pretty much taking the 101 to scottsdale there are peak hours where its pretty jammed. otherwise take local streets like bell road/frank lloyd right. if you are going to be out that way might as well hit Tonto and go to barlett/horseshoe/verde river. from i17/101 precott national forest in 20a and stoneman lake in 6a isn't that far. nice time of the year to go hear some bugles! hoghntr Report post Posted August 1, 2015 Plenty to do! hope your house has a pool, that helps a bit. I do not have one so run to lake pleasant when miserable. norterra will be by you also deer valley shopping center and desert ridge marketplace with many restaurants & arrowhead just 10min away. sportsmans is near by and cabela's 20 min away. yes you can fish canals and many urban lakes but it's hot! I fish pleasant at night to escape heat a bit.
