AZP&Y Report post Posted June 11, 2007 Hey Hey 3 CHEERS! - Great story and Pictures- That Mountain is one that deserves the utmost RESPECT- It requires a whole new set of gear and technique!! - Now you've that you've got that one, Denali is calling? Thanks for taking us along! Great pictures and there is nothing like crossing a crevasse and the sound those things make (creek, creek) and the rippling effect of the ice shifting under your feet! True adventure! Nice touch with the FLAG! AzP&Y

Kilimanjaro Report post Posted June 11, 2007 thanks alot guys!! I really appreciate it! Younghunter, I want to do Denali in a bad way, but I think I'm gonna wait a few years and get some more high points under the belt before tackling that bad boy.. I think my next high peak is gonna be Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania next year. It is almost 20K and is the highest free standing mountain in the world. Plus, you know me and Africa.. I just can't seem to stay away. AZP&Y.. you are right about traversing those glaciers.. it is one awesome and errie expirence all rolled into one. Shortpants, Nuts? Naw.. just bored and "cursed" with a restless mindset!! I am always trying to outdo myself. And I really have no idea why. I guess its the sado masacist in me coming out.. I enjoy punishing myself! again, thanks guys!!
