Custom Cheek Piece

Recommended Posts

I recently found a gun smith in California who can install custom cheek pieces on most rifle stocks. Mine turned out FANTASTIC! He charges $215. That includes shipping it back. Well worth the money. I'm sending him my Sendero stock in a couple of weeks.

His name is Joe Dukos (209) 620-5268 please let him know you got his number from Adam Young.

guys I have a question for you. I have a McMillan Hunter stock on my rifle. after switching over to 20MOA base for my scope, I have a problem shooting from a bench. I have to raise my head up a little off the cheek piece of the stock to get a clear view thru the scope. I have a Beartooth comb raising kit on my turkey shotgun witch helps me line up with that scope. have you ever tried one of these on a stock with a monte carlo type cheek piece? is it possible to have this custom cheek piece you talk about on a stock such as mine? thanks for your imput!

After seeing Big Browns, I called his guy up and was just about to buy and send a McMilllan Game Scout. Well, I changed my mind and since I really wanted the A5, I thought it was better to wait for what i want instead of "settling" on the Game Scout. Which is a great stock to begin with. If I had a stock to do a cheek riser, i would sent it to him.
