TonyC Report post Posted July 27, 2015 Hello and good evening everybody! I plan on doing a hike out nearby to investigate an area I'm interested in hunting for rabbits/coyotes and possibly quail/dove when the season is open however should I just do some hiking/scoutingand then come another day to hunt or try to call in a few coyotes while investigating the area? I'm sure both could be done.. I'm looking for what you guys would choose to do and perhaps the "logical" reasoning behind it.
yotebuster Report post Posted July 27, 2015 Life is to short. If the season is open (which it is for coyotes) then go hunting.
TonyC Report post Posted July 27, 2015 That's kind of what I had in mind.
Antmo23 Report post Posted July 27, 2015 I smoked a fox, recovered him, then sat back down behind my nocs and found the buck I've been chasing for the last few years.

I worry about taking shots sometimes out of scaring anything within the area/radius.
