shortpants Report post Posted June 6, 2007 I'm thinking of taking the wife and 4 month old daughter for a day trip up to Flag. this saturday. The problem is I don't know what we can do with such a young little girl. Any suggestions? Scouting/shed hunting is not an option.

Ron G. Report post Posted June 6, 2007 If you have a kid carrier backpack you could do a little 'nature' hike. Highly recommend Veit Springs (I think that is what it is called). It's only about 1/2 mile but goes up to an old cabin and some petroglyphs above a spring. It's off of Snowbowl road. Makes for a great place to hike to for a picnic lunch and take in the aspens and nice temps. Of course, with the kid carrier backpack you could also go to the Mormon Lake 3D shoot. I imagine that falls into the same category as no shed hunting or scouting...

shortpants Report post Posted June 11, 2007 Well after hanging out with a few of you fellow CW.com junkies my wife and I took our baby girl on the Skyride up at Snowbowl. If you guys have never done this I highly reccomend it! What an awesome view of our great state! We stayed at the Snowbowl Lodge which was great. For $100 we got a room, breakfast, and the lift tickets. A cheap weekend adventure. Thanks for reccomending it AZ P&Y!
