lancetkenyon Report post Posted July 23, 2015 Check the case heads for extractor marks, a slight swipe from bolt face across the lettering, a bulge in the case just above the head, flattened/cratered/pierced/missing primers, loose primer pockets (which could easily result in soot deposits around outside of primer), sticky bolt lift. I run two loads in my 6.5 SLR, which has basically the same case capacity as the .260 Rem, so a touch more than the Creedmoor, and I run 41.5 of H4350 @ 2812fps for my light target loads, and 43.0 of H4350 @ 2920fps for my hunting loads. What kind of velocity are you getting, and what is your barrel length? willhunt4coues Report post Posted July 24, 2015 4 were savage style actions and the last is the one in my signature. If you go with a chassis style get a manners like mine becuase it only weighs 2.5 lbs. They are VERY expensive but well worth the cash. The modular style chassis systems are very heavy. If you are only shooting bench or PRS then get whatever you want but for hunting Manners even makes a Carbon fibre Chassis stock that weighs 25 oz.
