No kidding --- mushrooms will be plentiful between now and September!

For some excellent related links, Google > (1) Arizona Mushroom Club, (2) Arizona Mushroom Forum, (3) Arizona Mushrooms Primer

(Sorry my previous links wouldn't work ...)

What are the best books for identifying the edible ones?

I've been picking for several years mostly learned from an older couple from Poland that came up here every year and picked mushrooms. I also have a good reference book I use All That the Rain promises and More... by David Arora.

Make sure to dodge the ones growing out of cow poop, unless you want to get all silly.
