COOSEFAN Report post Posted June 4, 2007 Hey guys, I went fishing/campin' last weekend in the White Mtns. The trip included the ol' lady, my two kids "Harley" and "Drake", my dad, sister, and bro n' law. This was to be Drakes' first time in the woods, and it was awesome to kick back and watch him discover it all. I know he's a Lab, and I should have em' out chasing ducks, but I don't have the time....so he's not a workin' dog.......same with Harley (GSP), she's just a momma's girl with tender feet! We caught a few small trout but nothing really worth gettin' excited about, so 90% of my pic's were of the kids! So here's the pics I got of Drakes' first trip..... First is Harley on the ride up..... Next is Harley posing like she's cool....in a Pink Turtleneck! This is Drake and his momma after hiking in along the White River a ways...... And this is the rest of the crew on that hike..... This is why I don't think my bro n' law will ever fish with Drake AGAIN........... Here is the kids takin' a break........ This is a little Horny Toad that luckily Harley never saw.....so he's still alive... Here is a snake that I caught and stuffed into my tackle bag......so that I could scare my sister....... It obviously backfired.........she doesn't look too afraid to me! This is the only picture I have of any fish we caught....just a small Rainbow in Greer... I was able to get this great pic of Drake while he still was on his feet.......... BUT.....this is what he looked like for the remainder of the trip..........just a LITTLE wore out! It was a nice relaxing trip and the food at the Greer Lodge and Molly Butlers was incredible!!!! Greer is an amazing place, can't wait to go back! Thanks for following along and checking out my pics! I agree with you ...its a cool setup. the finger is doing ok i think he will survive ....thats the fifth time I have cut myself working there....its either from a benchmade knife or one of the knives of alaska(which are the best)
