Cinnamon or Black

Recommended Posts

I glassed these 2 bears up the other day. I was wondering what yall thought. I was thinking about going after the black one. He seemed bigger. The cinnamon had some nice scars on his face. This would be my first bear and its gonna be quite a hike getting them out.post-13573-0-39728600-1437263519_thumb.pngpost-13573-0-05468500-1437263603_thumb.pngpost-13573-0-16720600-1437263725_thumb.png

The black one looks bigger for sure. They are both beautiful bears though. Nice job finding these guys! How far out were they?

This is like splitting hairs, but to me, the dark one, is not really black, just a very dark brown color. That being said, I would go after the cinnamon! Were they in the same vicinity of each other? Possibly one was a sow being serenaded by a boar.

They were in different locations, quite a ways apart. Im more familiar with the area with the dark bear and more confident in finding him again. Ill post more pictures if i find em again.

The next picture you post of that darker bear better show you grinning from ear to ear and kneeling over its tagged body!

This is a Cim bear we have been following for two years from down south. Another blackie has also been in the same are but the weather has been screwing up their predictability. That's why they call it hunting. Should be a great year for everything.

Both look like great bears, congrats on the opportunity to choose between two awesome trophies! Forget the hike out, worry about that once you've got one down. Tough choice! Go for what you're going to be most happy seeing on the wall/floor every day. To me thats a big black rug on the floor first, and a big full-body cinnamon second, but hopefully both sooner rather than later :)
