azhuntnut Report post Posted June 3, 2007 WOW, that last one is looking real good this year. Do you have a picture of that one from last year? I see split fives is in the group also. Throw a rope around that big boy, and I will meet up with him in September. David
CouesWhitetail Report post Posted June 3, 2007 Nice pics Doug! I like the one with the old building in the background! Amanda
Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 3, 2007 The stone building is an old well house that was originally used to pump water up to Flagstaff. You can also see the cistern tank. The pump is still in the building. This elk will be different with the split 3rd and messed up left pedicle/G1, maybe a kicker off the right 4th. David- You mean this guy that will have matching kiskers off the 4ths? Did you draw 11m Archery? Doug~RR
257wby Report post Posted June 3, 2007 Nice photos RR. How close were you when you took them? Looks like you were close enough to jump on and go for a ride. Mike

I have the second hunt starting the 29th. I have some pics and video of those bulls from 2005, and they have put on some length and mass since that time. I think this is the same bull in the middle of the picture. His fifth's were split that year. David

Basser15 Report post Posted June 4, 2007 That herd has caused many folks to apply for that 11M tag just to have them think, "Where the #$%^ did they go?" once the season starts Great looking bulls!
Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 4, 2007 Basser, One bull I was looking at last summer was located 8 miles away and across two highways come the rut. RR
Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 24, 2007 The Kachina Boyz Club has grown to 10 for a siesta in the meadow this afternoon. Antlers have grown also. Looks like a couple will become worthy of the September archery chase. Same bull as above. Doug~RR
