wendt Report post Posted July 15, 2015 Does anybody know a place in Kaibab or near Kaibab, Marble Canyon or Cameron where I can store a 27ft 5th wheel? I don't want to keep hauling it up and back for scouting and hunting. Thanks, Mike

wendt Report post Posted July 15, 2015 No. My son drew a doe tag in early October and grandpa wants to bring up the trailer on a few scouting trips and so he can have a nice place to sleep.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted July 15, 2015 Even BETTER! Kids and hunting are the best. I took mine up there a month before my hunt for weekend scouting trips and left it in a camping spot on NF land with no issues. It was unattended for up to 2 weeks before the hunt, and I was nervous, but no one messed with it, and no notes from USFS left on it.
muley224 Report post Posted July 16, 2015 Call the Chevron station in Fredonia. Ask for the owner, Tony. He is a great guy and has helped us out many times in the past. Think he would probably store it there or know who would.
AZbowhntr Report post Posted July 16, 2015 That is a great idea. I know I drew a Kaibab tag since I only put in for that unit so I may do the same thing. Save pulling the trailer back and forth a couple times. Even if you left it somewhere in Flagstaff it would be better than hauling it up and down off the rim.
