COUESAZ Report post Posted June 1, 2007 Make sure you do not just throw away the Savy shoper coupon book when you get it in the mail today. It has a 10.00 gift coupon in it for sportsmans.

MT. CAT Report post Posted June 1, 2007 Thanks ARIZONA GUIDE. I just pulled mine out of the recycle bin. I would never think to look in the savy shopper for Sportsman's gift certificates. I'm gunna put some camo's on to do some urban hunting for the neighbors mail, hopefully steal some before they get home from work. Obviously a advertising scheme to get people off the market for hunting gear before Bass Pro opens and they lose business. Happy B-Day
COUESAZ Report post Posted June 2, 2007 I would say you are right. It is not like sportsmans to give a break to us, But now that the copetition is closer they will need to do some.
azryan Report post Posted June 2, 2007 "Obviously a advertising scheme to get people off the market for hunting gear before Bass Pro opens and they lose business." I dont think we are going to lose hardly any business to bass pro....yes. there might be a little affect but Im not worried at all. for instance the mesa store...all the people that live out in the area are not going to go to bass pro shops when it is a a several more miles...im not going to drive several miles out of my way to go there especially cuz of gas prices....bass pro and cabelas are tourist attractions...if anything I will go there once a year just like cabelas....I only go there to look at all the mounts and trophies they have hanging up. Plus the warehouse is and will be cheaper then bass pro and cabelas. I already think sportsmans is slow...but they make plenty of money anyways....there is not going to be a big affect. Big stores like sportsmans, bass pro, cabelas...do hurt the smaller hunting stores...thats what I think look at arizona sportsmans...its now closed right after the warehouse opened up...now I think it will be time for bear mtn....which I think would be a shame...cuz I love that store....but if anything it will have a big affect on smaller businesses Ryan
