PRDATR Report post Posted July 13, 2015 David I just had the alignment done a couple of months ago after putting a new steering box in. It was pulling a bit to the right before they rotated and balanced the tires on Saturday. When I left I noticed it now pulled to the left and it was worse than before so I suspect a belt is coming apart. I inspected it when I got home and didn't see anything but the pull is definitely there. These have been great tires though and they are 305/55R-20's Load Range E since the truck is close to 8000 pounds. Load Range D tires have too much sidewall flex for me. murfys69law Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Since the subject is tires, Can anyone tell me why Dodge decided to put 20" rims on their trucks. I have a 2008 1500 Ram Hemi and need tires but the price for 20" is unreal. I would trade these rims for 17's in a heartbeat.
PRDATR Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Maybe to put a bigger brake rotor on and have clearance for the caliper?
murfys69law Report post Posted July 13, 2015 Maybe to put a bigger brake rotor on and have clearance for the caliper? I was told that 17's will fit on it. Makes no sense then to put a bigger rim other than looks I think.,

Havasuhunter Report post Posted July 13, 2015 I just put new Toyo open country ATs on my Tundra. Like them better than the BFGs on my Tacoma. Almost went with the Nittos to save a little money, but have had great luck with Toyos on heavier trucks before, so I just went with them. Nittos are made in the Toyo factory I've been told, so I'm sure those new Terra Grapplers are very good tires.
