TonyC Report post Posted July 11, 2015 Hey everyone, I recently met up with a member who generously gave me a pair of sheds (one mule and one coues whitetail) for training my German Shepherd/Husky mix to shed hunt. After chatting with him for a bit he highly recommended joining the forum to connect with fellow hunters. Unfortunately, I'm an inexperienced hunter and haven't ever had the chance to really get out and hunt since I spent most of my time in the military. Now, that I've been out for a little bit, I'm looking to find experienced hunters willing to teach me the ropes as i slowly acquire all the gear and skills needed to become a successful hunter. I'm currently a full-time student under the GI Bill Post 9-11 attending UNDAerospace and Chandler-Gilbert Community College to become a professional airline pilot. I already hold my private rating and almost about to complete my instrument and commercial rating within a month. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you all and meeting up with a few of you guys who are interested. Best of luck to all of you and your future hunts. Tony. Here's a picture of my dog, Milo.

Allan Report post Posted July 11, 2015 Welcome, I'm sure you'll learn a lot from this forum. I fondly remember training for the commercial ticket, lots of chandelles, lazy eights, and crazy acronyms like "atomatoflames".
TonyC Report post Posted July 12, 2015 haha, thanks guys. I would consider it a "Trade." I fly, they teach me the ropes... I already have one buddy in Colorado wanting me to fly him for elk scouting.

jp0212 Report post Posted July 12, 2015 Duuuude, maybe you can save me the cost of my annual flight up to Wyoming and I'll take you on an Antelope hunt that is pretty much a guaranteed kill haha.
TonyC Report post Posted July 12, 2015 Haha, very possible.. Although my certifications say I'm more than capable, I still want to get some more experience before I start helping others. However, If you are indeed serious. We can plan in advance and I'll start pricing things out and working on a "solid" flight plan.

muledeerarea33? Report post Posted July 12, 2015 A legit pilot on this forum will get more Pm's than his inbox will handle!! 9 out of 10 will want a free ride, the one who will pay won't realize how much it actually costs!! I was one of the 9 lol
TonyC Report post Posted July 12, 2015 haha, you are absolutely correct! One flight can add up very quick when considering the duration of the flight and the amount of fuel required. Eventually, I would like to own my own plane but.. that isn't happening any time soon.
