countrykid Report post Posted July 6, 2015 I heard a lot of talk recently about with the new Gay marriage ruling it makes way for all States to have to honor concealed carry permits from state to state. My question is.... Will my hunting license from Az have to be honored in other States as well, or will my deer permit from Az be good in Utah or Colorado? Just wondering, that is all. AZ8 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Not quite. It's plausible, but a stretch at this point. https://www.nraila.org/articles/20150705/don-t-equate-same-sex-marriage-decision-with-national-concealed-carry-reciprocity
Red Sparky Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Go to bow site, read the 192 post topic started by an out of stater, and you will find out game management is a state right. It has all the references to the lawsuits and USSC cases. All the lawsuits against the states filed under the 14th amendment, which is what gay rights won under, have supported the states and not out of state hunters. So no you can't transfer licenses across state lines.
