Archery Antelope unit 10 AZ

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I drew unit 10 archery antelope this was my 18th year putting in and got a tag, I live in the heart of unit 1 and 27 and know both units very well. I never hunted unit 10 and was just looking for some area to start scouting.

thank you

I'd start scouting everywhere, every time you have time to get out!! Hopefully some one needs some info in your units to trade. Could work out good for everyone. If not though, time to get to work and camp and drive and find your self a good buck. Hope it works out for you.

yeah that's what I'm hoping for. I'm excited about this hunt I'm probably going to go out next week for a couple days and check out the unit. But I will be guiding a unit 27 archery bull in September and have been scouting a lot for it I'm going out this week and putting out a couple trail cameras I've found some good bulls. I wish unit 10 was closer like 1 and 27.

Great tag you have, like he ^^^ said alot of great bucks and great places to hunt from close to Williams all the way to the far west part of the unit. A good starting point might be golf course road and maybe espee, good luck and post pix!

Wish I could help you out. The only part of unit 10 I know has been turned into a pay to hunt area. Good area but gotta pay. I've camped a handful of times but can't say it was good country even though I saw lots of antelope, don't wanna steer you wrong. I'll be helping a buddy in 27 for bull on the late hunt. Think I got it covered. Again, good luck on your hunt.

The BO tends to hold the most goats. Gotta pay, but it's worth it. Check aubrey valley, flats around rose well and trinity, then the whole plateau noth of rose well to camp 5. The area east of bishop lake and c lake is worth looking at as well. The forest also has some goats and an occasional whopper. Take the espee rd till you cross the private the check out all the area around tin house as well. Lots and lots of country to cover if you are looking for a giant. Bring lots of extra gas. Good luck!

Ive been scouting it a lot lately. One thing I can say it that unit 10 is HUGE and has a lot of huntable ground. Ive seen a fair amount of goats around tin house but they don't seem to stick to a general area and water is everywhere. Scouting is must and this year there seems to be some real whoppers in there. The biggest goats ive seen are around Williams in the pines. Good luck!
