sherman Report post Posted June 28, 2015 So my family and I just moved into a new house and there is a bee hive in a valve box we would like them removed Not killed. If you know of a bee keeper or you are one and want some free bees let us know we are in Sunsites (between willcox & Benson) you can call or text me at 520-686-0830 I don't think they are killer bees they are real calm even when I flipped the lid off the box thanks Dustin

Big or Bust Report post Posted June 28, 2015 All of our wild bees are Africanized FYI. They are calm because they haven't been there long likely. If you flipped the top off they will likely abscond now. Too hot for an uncontained hive to make it.
GJMauro12 Report post Posted June 29, 2015 Most keepers won't take a wild hive as far as I know. They don't want to farm an Africanized hive because they're so aggressive and can take over his other hives. As stated above, they might not seem aggressive now because they haven't been there long but more than likely Africanized. The more established the hive becomes the more aggressive They will get.
