Only regret I have is having to get rid of my razor 50. great little lightweight optic for the money. Need to get another before season

I've actually been looking hard at the razor 50. I'm not planning on using my spotting scope to glass for game mostly just for taking a closer look at critters I've found w my 15's (I actually think the outdoorsmans daul mount w 15's and the little 50 might be an awesome combo) so I'm thinking the small exit pupil might not matter much. The doubler for the 15's is also a interesting idea

Lot of really good scopes out there. I'd recommend any of the big 3, Nikon ED III, Vortex Razor. If you've got the time to find a good used scope, one with a good warranty, you'll never lose a dime on your investment.

I'd like to see Swarovski bring back the ATM/STM lineup. Relatively lightweight scopes with top notch performance.

I loved my compact razor. I mainly used it to take closer looks and digiscoping. Or reaching out a little further than my talon hd's. Great optic for the money. Sure the others are awesome too. Need to get another one before season

Guest 300ultramag.

leupold has nice compact HD spotters for 2015 I believe

the biggest thing is will it stay in the truck or at home? If its bulky or weighs alot they tend to get left behind for me.

I had an awesome swaro spotter but it was a beast to lug around. I got the compact leupold and it is in my pack at all times.

I dont care for angle spotters either its nice to disconnacet and be on point from binos to spotter.

good luck and let us know what you get

I looked at the razor hd 65 mm today and it's a lot of scope for the money but I'm leaning towards the swaro, cry once right? Lol. I'll be making a trip to outdoorsmans next week it looks like :)

Most spotting scopes are a waist unless they are top end. If You are using some good 15's and can't see the rack it most likely isn't worth shooting. Iv'e never seen any thing under 2k worth carrying. And any thing over that I can't afford. Found cheap ones to be to blurry at high power.. I am usually with at least one person that has the good ones. Hunt with friends that have good equipment........BOB!
