CouesPursuit Report post Posted June 23, 2015 It does at least a little bit! I do believe a significant portion (certainly not all) of cameras that are stolen or tampered with are because someone was caught off guard and simply did not want their picture taken. And then, there are just flat out scum of the earth thieves.
MattMan Report post Posted June 24, 2015 Bobby Fischer could likely walk down the street in Scottsdale, Arizona, with minimal risk of actually being noticed. It's not like he's on gonna be on Facebook, he's 10 years older, and most people can't remember who was on the news 10 months ago much less 10 years ago. It took SEVERAL posts to even remember his name. He's either dead in the hills, or alive and well and doing just fine somewhere else... if he sat down next to most people, they'd probably buy him a beer. Ever tried to find someone who WANTS to be found? It ain't always exactly easy. Finding someone who DOESN'T, by proxy, can only be more difficult...

Anybody see the story on the guy that the movie Shawshank redemption was inspired by? He was caught after 56 years on the run. Normal, ordinary, church going, retiree, "sweet old man, like a grandpa".... http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/05/us/shawshank-fugitive-caught/
