GRONG Report post Posted May 30, 2007 Jamaro I TOTALLY agree with you!! This has been an AMAZING season for upsets and just like you said, "Anything can happen in MMA" and that is the mutha lovin truth! Just look at Cro Cop, they bring him into the UFC right out of Pride and he does what he did there, kick em' in the head and knock em' flat. Then all the sudden this dude he fights comes out of nowhere with a big ol giant-butt kick to the gord and knocked him nearly freakin unconcious!!!! That's what makes this sport so flippin fun to watch. heck, I'm gonna go watch some re-runs!!!!!!!! I'm out!!
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 So Jamaro, as the iceman beat nobodies to get the title? yeah, i call tito (twice) and randy the natural corture and jeremy horn all "nobodies". ya gotta respect chuck, he has crushed everyone he has faced minus rampage. i do think rampage is the better fighter between the two. i do not doubt at all that he should have gotten a title fight, just not as his second fight in the UFC. I could take him... ICEMAN vs. the Beaner Boy.. What I am saying is that Chuck only faced wrestlers.. not stand up fighters... So his stand up game and take down defense never let the other fighters get rolling... Jason
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted May 30, 2007 thats the classic UFC fight, the striker vs the grapler. does it mean that chuck is not a good fighter? and i would say that tito can strike rather well, as well as randy, not to mention vitor belfort and vanderli silva. Mark Sipe Report post Posted May 30, 2007 Hello all, This is my first time to post on this forum. I've been an avid reader of CW.com for some time, but for some reason never joined. My family & I went to the Clints Well Shoot this past weekend and I have to say it was a great shoot. The shoot was well run & organized, they had some good venders there, the food was great, the targets were in great shape and the people were very friendly. I had the honor of meeting Christian, which by the way, is why I was inspired to join this forum. Christian, it was a pleasure meeting you, maybe you can give me a few pointers on shooting! I also had the honor of meeting Stan & Travis, both great guys. I hope to be able to spend more time with all of you. My kids loved the shoot & are already talking about coming back next year. By the way, this has got to be the best hunting site I've seen. Talk to ya soon, Mark Sipe
dave Report post Posted May 30, 2007 Welcome newbe, Sorry you didn't get to meet Josh. He might have been working on one of the Nice Jons or sneaking up behind someone. Sorry you didn't get to meet Marvin. I hear he was shooting so good from the blue cub stakes that they had to bump him up to the women stakes and loan him a range finder. Just kidding Marvin. I gotta meet that Christian. Any one that has the huevos to drive a yellow scout must be a keeper. This is me and my best friend back before there was elk in unit 1 with my uncle's yeller Scout. We were too young to drive then.
