What type of brush is this?

Recommended Posts

Not sure where you're located, but if you need Roundup or Honcho, let me know (41% glyphosate). If you're worried about killing the grasses, you could use a product called Relegate (Tryclopyr). We use it to kill Salt Cedar and other woody brush without affecting the grasses. You could also put down a product such as Pendulum 3.3 and that will keep them from coming back for a few months.

If anyone on here ever needs help using chemical to control weeds, let me know.

I'm SE of Tucson.

I can't see it well but it looks like burrobrush. If it is roundup won't kill it. We used to use diuron to keep it off of the ditchbanks. The picture in the link you provided looks like it but it also looks like the pictures I searched of desert broom so I'm not sure? Might just have to dig up a small one and take it to a nursery.

Is this it?

Wait, pictures kinda of fuzzy, but I'm certain that is a rare strain of Unicorn Grass.

It's incredibley rare and protected. You'll have to tear your fence down, bulldoze your home and turn your land over to the Sierra Club for conservancy within the next 5 business days.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Cut it down to ground level, poor 1 gallon diesel on it, it will take a couple treatments every couple weeks but it works on just about anything.

I won't specify on what I've tried already but will say your suggestion does wonders on ants but not great on this horrible weed.

Take one of them old or new beater chevys you got in your yard and start doing doughnuts with it. If you can keep em running it should wipe out most of em.
