The truck lane might as well be a mine field, there's huge craters everywhere. Who is wrong?technically if there's no cars to your right that your passing at the time then you should move over... Always pass on the left.... But if your passing then 85 guy just has to wait till you finish your pass YES!!! Drives me bat schite crazy when ppl don't move over. I don't care how fast your going....MOVE OVER!!!!! Havasuhunter Report post Posted June 13, 2015 I drive all over the country and AZ really isn't that bad compared to some places. I don't drive around the Phoenix metro area much though. You should try Havasu the first week or so of spring break. You have the snowbirds from Canada, MN, ND etc that seem to average about 90 years old driving next to the drunk/high college kids. Non-Typical Solutions Report post Posted June 13, 2015 Any of you that have kids, grand kids, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma or grandpa or just a friend, this video is well worth the 34 minutes to sit down and watch with them, I especially liked the second story. Some of you older guys and gals remember leaving for college and not hearing from your folks until the weekend when you made the collect phone call home, this instant technology has gotten out of control and if you think texting can't wait......think again. joe hunter Report post Posted June 15, 2015 I have spent over 30 years making a living on the highway hauling heavy equipment coast to coast, over 7 million accident free miles so I know for a fact the road is @%^$%^& crazy !!! The things I have seen and the things drivers have done are unreal and it's getting worse every year especially with all the cell phones and inexperienced drivers, American and foreign . I put a dash cam in my truck because of the STUPID driving that goes on around me all day every day no matter what part of the country I'm in. A lot of police drive like drunkin teenagers, speeding, on the phone, no signal's, no lights, no respect just, ....... I'M THE HIGHWAY PATROL !! Now they are talking about making it mandatory for all big trucks to have speed limiters in the future ...65 mph max. all trucks. and any one that says that's a good idea just remember that when you are stuck behind big trucks trying to pass each other at 65 mph in 80 mph zone on the interstate for 10 minute, because the average car speed on the interstate is about 90 mph. I have been traveling and working in India for years, and everytime I go back I am reminded of the madness on the roads. Simply can't explain it to someone who hasn't experienced it. The interesting part though, is that think Indian drivers are quite good. It's the traffic laws and 'norms' of the road there that are CRAZY!! I've often told my friends over there that if you took a bunch of American drivers and put them on the roads of Mumbai (or any other city in India) that there would be total and complete gridlock!
