muley224 Report post Posted June 4, 2015 Was up in 12aw and came across this new fenced in area. Had hundreds of flags, and numbered covered plants of some sort. Had an irrigation system from a bladder type system. Ran into a guy from game and fish in a water truck and he had no idea what it was. Any thoughts ? Swivelhead Report post Posted June 4, 2015 Interesting!. I don't really know, but maybe some sort of re-vegetation study. +1 Do you know the land ownership status? private, USFS, BLM etc.
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted June 4, 2015 Pot? potassium chloride? I doubt it? You might be right though? I'm thinking vegetation study or a housing project depending on how close it is to water/people. But pry a gov. Study.
wyguy Report post Posted June 4, 2015 If it was Game and Fish or USFS its a revegetation site. If it is anyone else you just stumbled onto a "Medical" Marijuana farm -Wy
murfys69law Report post Posted June 4, 2015 Why would they make this so visible if it was a pot operation.
8OWHUNT247 Report post Posted June 4, 2015 Not exactly sure what it is but it is not a pot farm LOL. Revegetation most likely.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted June 4, 2015 There are a few of these around Parks, AZ too. The ones up there are tree saplings in a previously burned area.
muley224 Report post Posted June 4, 2015 For those familiar with 12aw winter range, it is down at the divide road headed to jump up, little springs, horse springs area. Where the 236 rd hits the 423. All brand new. May be Forest service project.
Swivelhead Report post Posted June 5, 2015 Just a WAG but maybe they (USFS, BLM) are propagating a threatened/endangered plant?
