Stupid thing sat on my window for over 10 minutes in my buddy's drive way. You must have been down near the Mexican border! http://www.audubon.org/field-guide/bird/five-striped-sparrow That's a black-throated sparrow. I thought five-striped at first, based on the head, but the big bib is the key. Five-striped sparrows have that little black dot.
