Edge Report post Posted June 3, 2015 Just wrapped up 4 1/2 days hiking gmu 9 mixing shed and predator hunting. After three days of seeing only squirrel and rabbit, luck changed. While walking down to a water hole, this beach crossed my path about 100 yards down. Saw her thru a narrow shooting lane at a run so I sat down and waited, 10 minutes later here she comes. Only had a split second to present and fire the old .06. Got down to the scene thinking I had missed when I found almost half a lung and lots of blood, tote still managed to run another 40 yards. Resumed my hike, and found two elk spike sheds and a couple broken points near this old corral around Millers seep. Building this corral back in the day was a monumental task. It easily encircled a couple acres and was at one time 3 timbers tall. (Website isn't allowing me to upload pic's but I'll keep trying.
