Curmudgeon Report post Posted May 29, 2015 This is a J.C. Higgins Model 50, which is a Sears Roebuck brand rifle on an FN commercial Mauser action. It's glass-bedded and free-floated in a Bell and Carlson Medalist stock with a full-length aluminum bedding block. I also have the original walnut stock, which is free-floated, glass-bedded, refinished, and fitted with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The trigger is a Bold, and the scope is a Bushnell 2.5-10 in weaver rings. I have several receiver peep sights, too, although they're not included in the asking price. $600 for the rifle only, $750 for the rifle and scope. That includes about 600 cases, including primed and fire-formed brass. I'll trade or partial trade for a utility trailer, a .308 bolt-action rifle, or a Smith and Wesson .41, .44, or .45 revolver. I'll consider other trades, too, but have no interest in any AK.
